FAQ's - Clinique Happy - 5 Song Downloads

Here’s how to get your 10 Song Downloads at CONNECT™ Music – compliments of clinique.com:

STEP 1: DOWNLOADING SOFTWARE

  1. Visit getyourhappy.com and click on "already got your code" link this will take you to CONNECT Music where you will find a link to download the CONNECT Software to your desktop. Or, to log on directly to download free software, visit connect.com/download
  2. Once you download and install the CONNECT Software, open it open it by clicking the CONNECT Music icon on your desktop. Click on the “register” link at the top of the page. At this time you will be required to quickly register for an account. This will only take a moment. You will be asked to enter a valid credit card in the event that you make future song purchases (or you may simply click ‘skip this step’ when prompted).
  3. If you already have the most current CONNECT Music software installed on your computer, open it by clicking the CONNECT Music icon on your desktop. Log in to your existing account.

STEP 2: REDEEMING YOUR SONGS

  1. Go to the Sony CONNECT music store at http://musicstore.connect.com or open the CONNECT Music software and click “redeem a code” on the left hand nav bar.
  2. Refer to the download card in your jewel case - peel it back from the inside of the case, look on the back of the card and you will find your unique 5 song download code.
  3. Enter your code and click "Redeem." The song download credit will be applied to your account upon check out.
  4. Proceed to shop for your songs and download.

Your complimentary CD – Creating your own “Happy CD” and playing the music you just downloaded with another music player or portable music player

Inside your Get Happy jewel case Clinique has included a BLANK complimentary CD for you to create your very own Happy compilation/play list.

  1. To create your Happy CD you will need a CD or CD/DVD burner
  2. To burn a CD follow the steps on your digital music library software.

To play the music with another music player or portable music player follow these simple steps:

  1. Insert your Happy compilation/play list CD that you just burned into the CD or CD/DVD drive of your computer.
  2. When prompted with a dialog box, choose ‘Import songs” or “Rip Music from CD” using the music player of your choice.
  3. If you are not prompted with a dialog box, open ‘My Computer’ or your hard drive and select the CD drive. Right-click and choose “Rip Music from CD” or “Play” or simply double-click on the CD icon.
  4. Your music player will open. Your CD will automatically start importing or you can select ‘Import CD” to start importing.
  5. Once the music available on the music player of your choice you can move it to your portable music player using the instructions from your music players software.

Downloading your songs to another computer

You can download the songs you get from CONNECT to 5 authorized computers by following these simple steps:

  1. From the new computer, make sure you have the most current CONNECT Music software installed on your computer. If you do not, follow the steps in STEP 1: DOWNLOADING SOFTWARE above.
  2. Log in to your existing account from the new computer.
  3. Select the ‘account’ link and then select ‘view and download purchased music’
  4. From here you will see a list of downloaded songs from CONNECT and you can re-download any song you like.
